about

This song was inspired by the words of the Great Sufi Poet, Kahlil Gibran: "sow a seed unto the earth, It will yield you a flower, dream your dream unto the sky it will bring your Beloved" I have changed them a little and gone on from there, riding on the wings of his exquisite lyrical legacy.
Ah! the Poets, the sages, the dancers, the misfits! gratitude!

lyrics

sow a seed unto the earth
she will yield you a flower
dream your dream unto the sky
he will bring your beloved

by still waters we'll rest
catch the moment on our breath
and by the fires of love
this thirst, we shall quench

spirit of the mountain
wisdom of the trees
glistening fountain
your'e moving through me

your colours astound me
you sing to my soul
with your arms around me
I find my way home
with your arms around me
I find my way home

ayey ayey
ayey ayey aeah

for we're bridging the way
between the heavens and the earth
remembering today
what this is all really worth
these cycles these changes
these seasons these moons
these rhymes these rhythms
these tunes

ayey ayey
ayey ayey ayeah

sow a seed unto the earth
she will yield you a flower
dream your dream unto the sky
he will bring your beloved

by still waters we'll rest
catch the moment on our breath
and by the fires of love
this thirst, we shall quench

spirit of the mountain
wisdom of the trees yeah
glistening fountain
you're moving through me
your colours astound me
you sing to my soul yeah
with your arms around me
I find my way home
with your arms around me
I find my way home
